Tap Water: UNICEF Tap Project

We were blown away when a fellow Bruin showed us UNICEF's new project, which aims to provide millions of people with clean water. UNICEF has teamed with Giorgio Armani and invites the public to get involved through technology. All you have to do is open uniceftapproject.org on your smartphone, start the challenge, and let your phone relax. For every ten minutes you don't touch your phone, UNICEF and Giorgio Armani will provide a day's worth of clean drinking water for a child in need. As college students, we often become extremely attached to our phones. This project is a great way to take have phone-free focus in class, study with less distractions, or give your phone a job while you're working hard at yours. Clean water is a gift we often take for granted, and you can provide it for children who desperately thirst everyday. Keep doing good, Bruins!
